Hackerscape Opening @ The Co. Bangsar!

Basic Electronics Workshop Building a Motion Sensing Light

Hackerscape is proud to present a full day Electronics Workshop by Joshua Teh. Registration fee includes lunch, an Arduino board and components worth RM80 to take home.

Some of the contents that we'll cover in the workshop is as follows.

1. Electronics basics
2. What exactly is Arduino and what can I build with it?
3. Some examples of applications that can be done using Arduino
4. Schematic diagram basics
5. Circuit assembly from schematics
6. How to start soldering
7. What is a motion sensing light and how can I build it in a few hours?

Everything is going to be completely hands on and you will make everything from the ground up in less than a day!

Workshop is RM200 which includes lunch, the Arduino board and all the components to take home to use. Please bring your laptop if you can to maximise the use of the Arduino.

This workshop is specially designed for those who want to use electronics but at the moment do not have a way to start.

If you use Arduino, Raspberry Pi or other embedded platforms already, you'll still enjoy the class and take home some pretty good stuff. So please do recommend this workshop to someone who you think can enjoy mixing craft with electronics.

This event is suitable for everyone of all ages!
